Wall art made from oil drums?!

This metal wall art was made in Haiti. The artisans take 55 gallon oil barrels, split them open and flatten them out. Then they intricately cut the steel by hand to create these wall hangings that are made from 100% recycled materials. No machines are used in the process, only a hammer and a nail.

These items are sustainable, recycled and fair trade – purchasing them directly impact the lives of the Haitian artisans. You can hang these pieces inside or outside.
