Kaminaljuyú Archaeological Site: Excavated by the University of Pennsylvania in the 1960s, this active site continues to reveal fascinating ancient Mayan artifacts, including ceramics and metals.

Meeting Master Artisans
The group had the privilege of visiting workshops and markets where skilled artisans keep centuries-old traditions alive. From intricate wood carvings to stunning textiles, each piece told a story of heritage and craftsmanship.

Atitlán, Guatemala City, Panajachel and Santa Cruz offered a blend of beautiful scenery and modern folk art, while the bustling Chichicastenango Market provided an immersive experience filled with color, music, and local culture.

Travelers rolled up their sleeves for hands-on experiences, learning to cook traditional meals that locals have prepared for centuries. They also gained insight into ancient artisan techniques, working directly with skilled craftspeople to learn the time-honored methods passed down through generations. A truly immersive adventure!
